Introduction
The Infinix Hot 50 Pro+ 4G is a stylish device. It’s got an incredibly slim 6.8mm profile and a very light 162-gram body. You can get the phone in Sleek Black, Titanium Grey or Dreamy Purple with a glossy or matte glass finish. Then there is also the just launched Blossom Pink version with a vegan leather finish, which we have for review today.
Fancy looks are going to be the primary draw here. Don’t expect too much in the hardware department. Still, you do get a decent package, especially in some respects like the pretty-bright, 120Hz AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass protection, the stereo speaker setup, tuned by JBL, the decently quick and expandable UFS 2.2 storage and the pretty large, especially considering the size, 5,000 mAh battery.

On the flip side, you get a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, which is a relatively new but modest 4G chipset and still not that common.
Also, the Hot 50 Pro+ is quite lacking in the camera department. There appear to be three cameras on the back, but the phone only reports a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the back, plus a 13MP selfie. The third rear “camera” is either some specialized mystery sensor or a total fabrication. Either way, don’t expect too much from the cameras.
Besides that, you get a mostly plastic device with minimal IP54 ingress protection. On the plus side, there is decently fast 33W charging, as well as reverse wired and bypass charging support.
Unboxing
The Hot 50 Pro+ ships in a colorful two-piece cardboard box. The material is pretty tough and resilient. A plastic cradle is on the inside to keep the phone in place.
On the plus side, the accessory package is very rich. There is a 33W charger in the box with a USB Type-A to Type-C cable. Infinix also gives you a hard plastic transparent snap-on case and a curved glass screen protector.
