The Xiaomi 17 Max arrived this week, completing the series. It lacks the secondary screen of the Pro Max, but adds a 200MP main camera and a larger 8,000mAh Si-C battery. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with up to 16 gigs of memory, a triple rear camera system – 200MP wide, 50MP 3x zoom, 50MP 17mm ultrawide, and a 32MP selfie upfront.
Xiaomi 17 Max comes in black, white, and blue colors. Pricing in China for the 12/256GB trim starts at CNY 4,799 ($705/€609 converted) and goes up to CNY 5,799 ($853/€735 converted) for the 16/512GB trim.
The rumored Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro will reportedly be a 6.47-inch device. It would place in between the Galaxy S27 (reportedly smaller), and the bigger Galaxy S27+.
Samsung also released the stable One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy A36, A56, Z Fold5, and Z Flip5.
Sony unveiled its special-edition 1000X The ColleXion wireless over-ear headphones with active noise cancellation to commemorate 10 years of the series. The more premium cans arrive to slot just in front of the ongoing WH-1000XM6, not to replace them.
They have a new design, more premium materials, and supposedly better, more audiophile-friendly tuning. Price is $649/€629/£549 – $200/€180/£150 more than the XM6 at launch.
The Infinix Hot 70 was listed in Bangladesh, with a Helio G100 Ultimate SoC, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a microSD slot, and a 6.78-inch 120Hz HD+ LCD. The phone will pack a large 6,000mAh battery with 45W charging. Expect the Infinix Hot 70 to launch on May 25.

Check out our deeply flawed and biased review of the Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro (judging by some of the comments 😂). Also, some media have received the Trump Mobile T1 Phone, and, judging by some of the preliminary specs, this may be a rebadged HTC U24 Pro.
