Samsung is expected to unveil its next-generation foldables on July 22, according to a recent leak. Ahead of the rumored launch, new details about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide have surfaced online.

A new report claims that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The foldable is said to weigh around 210g and measure just 4.1mm thick when unfolded.

The report also suggests that the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 will retain the same 200MP primary rear camera, while upgrading the ultrawide sensor to 50MP. The selfie cameras are tipped to remain unchanged, continuing to use 10MP sensors. This aligns with older leaks.

Additionally, the device is rumored to pack a 5,000mAh battery, corroborating an earlier leak from March. The foldable is said to support faster 45W wired charging.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide is tipped to feature a 7.6-inch inner display with a 4:3 aspect ratio.

The device is also said to sport a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Other rumored specs include a 4,800mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging and a weight of around 200g. Once again, these details are in line with recent leaks.
