As promised last week, Huawei has announced the nova 15 Max at an event in Thailand. The standout feature of the device is the 8,500mAh battery.

If the phone looks familiar, that’s because it appears to be a rebranded version of the Enjoy 90 Pro Max, which was unveiled in China in March.

Huawei hasn’t revealed the chipset powering the phone, but it’s likely the Kirin 8000, which is found on the Enjoy 90 Pro Max. The 6.84-inch OLED panel on the nova 15 Max offers an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The device has a dual-rear camera setup with a 50MP RYYB main camera paired with a 2MP secondary unit. It gets a circular rear camera module. Up front, there’s an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling.
