The Redmi K series is consistently pushing the envelope in terms of specs, and the just-announced Redmi K90 Max is the latest example. It arrives with a flagship chipset, a built-in cooling fan and a generous 8,500mAh Si-C battery with 100W charging.

The K90 Max brings MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500 chipset, armed with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The chip is paired with a dedicated Xiaomi D2 graphics chip, with Redmi boasting a 4,161,374 score on AnTuTu v11.

You also get a 6,000mm2 vapor chamber, which, combined with the spinning fan, can drop the K90 Max’s internal temperature by up to 10 degrees. And the most impressive bit is that the K90 Max still offers IP66/68/69 ingress protection.

K90 Max is built around a 6.83-inch AMOLED with 2,722 x 1,280px resolution, 12bit colors and a 165Hz refresh rate. The TCL-made panel features M10 luminous technology, which is rated at up to 3,500 nits peak local brightness. The panel integrates an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and also packs a 20MP front-facing camera inside the punch hole cutout. The phone is also outfitted with stereo speakers featuring Bose sound tuning.
In terms of cameras, you get a 1/1.55-inch 50MP main shooter (Light Hunter 800) with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens (OV08F). The software side is covered by Android 16 with Xiaomi Hyper OS 3.0 on top. 8,500mAh Si-C battery with 100W wired and 22.5W reverse wired charging. You also get bypass charging support.
Redmi K90 Max comes in black, blue and silver colors and starts at CNY 3,199 ($469) for the 12/256GB trim. The top-tier 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version is priced at CNY 4,699 ($690). Open sales in China are already underway, but Xiaomi has not revealed any plans for a global launch.
