The Poco M8s 5G is the latest addition to the company’s M8 lineup. It features a large 7,000mAh battery and a 6.9-inch display. The handset is now available in global markets, starting at $189 for the base variant.
It is equipped with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, which can be configured with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone also offers expandable storage via a microSD card slot.
The Poco M8s 5G sports a 6.9-inch LCD display that offers a Full-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. There’s an 8MP selfie camera up front housed inside a hole-punch cutout.
At the back, the phone features a 50MP main sensor paired with an auxiliary lens. It supports 1080p video recording at 30fps.
Poco has provided a 7,000mAh battery in the phone with support for 33W wired and 18W wired reverse charging.
The phone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, an IP64 rating, NFC, GPS, an IR blaster, and Dolby Atmos support.
The Poco M8s 5G runs Android 15-based HyperOS 2 out-of-the-box. It is available in White and Black color options.
As for pricing, the 6GB/128GB variant will cost you $189, whereas the 8GB/256GB option carries a price tag of $229.
