Test Your Drawing Skills in Miskatonic University Art Club

ASOBIBAKUROUSAGI LLC has released Miskatonic University Art Club, an online multiplayer drawing and guessing game inspired by H. P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos. The game is now available on Steam for Windows and Mac, as well as Google Play for Android, with an iOS version for iPhone and iPad expected to launch soon following its App Store review.

Designed for two to eight players, the game challenges participants to draw terrifying creatures using strange written descriptions as their only reference. You don’t need to be an experienced artist to join in. Instead, the real challenge is creating a drawing that other players can recognize before time runs out.

Inspired by the bizarre horrors of Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos, the game features descriptions that can leave players scratching their heads. From formless chaos to creatures covered in indescribable appendages, each assignment leaves plenty of room for imagination. Players complete five rounds of drawing and guessing, earning points for identifying monsters correctly and helping others recognize their own creations. The highest-scoring player earns the title of Outstanding Member.

Beyond the multiplayer fun, players can collect illustrations from their matches to fill a personal Necronomicon. As the collection grows, the story involving the art club’s president, Thoth, gradually unfolds.

Miskatonic University Art Club costs $2.99 as a one-time purchase on Steam and Google Play. It also supports cross-play between PCs, phones, and tablets, with no advertisements or in-app purchases.

If you’ve ever wanted to turn Lovecraftian nightmares into questionable works of art, this unusual party game might be worth gathering your friends for.
