Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S26 series smartphones in February, and the next big smartphone announcement from the Korean brand is expected to be the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8, and a wide foldable, which could be called Galaxy Z Fold Wide (or Fold8 Wide). There’s no word from Samsung on the launch dates of these foldables, but according to Korea Economic TV, they will be unveiled on July 22.
Korea Economic TV reports that these Galaxy foldables will be unveiled at a Galaxy Unpacked event in London, UK, without specifying the event time.

The Galaxy Z Fold Wide will be the first of its kind in Samsung’s foldable lineup, as it’s rumored to feature a display with a 4:3 aspect ratio and support for the S Pen. It’s also said to be 0.5mm thinner than Apple’s folding iPhone.

Other rumored specs of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide include the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy SoC, a 5,000 mAh battery, and 45W wired charging support. The smartphone’s folding display will measure 7.6″ diagonally, while the cover screen will have a diagonal of 5.4″.
Expect to hear more about these 2026 Galaxy foldables in the coming weeks.
