U.S.A. — Taboola has partnered with Motorola to bring its “DeeperDive AI” answer engine to select moto g smartphones, giving users a new way to find answers and explore content from trusted publishers directly from their lockscreen.
Under the partnership, Motorola will become the first smartphone manufacturer to integrate DeeperDive into its lockscreen experience.
The rollout is expected to take place in phases throughout 2026 and 2027 across selected moto g devices and markets, including the UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Mexico and Argentina.
DeeperDive uses generative AI to provide context-rich answers, related stories, and interactive follow-up prompts across categories like sports, finance, and travel directly from publisher content.
The integration builds on Taboola and Motorola’s existing relationship, which already brings personalised content recommendations to selected moto g devices in certain markets.
“Motorola continues to innovate the ways consumers interact with their devices and discover the content that matters to them,” said Adam Singolda, CEO of Taboola.
“DeeperDive creates a new way for people to explore their interests and get useful answers informed by trusted publisher content. We’re proud to expand our relationship with Motorola and bring this experience directly to consumers on their smartphones,” added Singolda.
Taboola said DeeperDive has been integrated into the digital experiences of publishers including USA TODAY Co., HuffPost UK, BuzzFeed Asia and Bangkok Post since 2025.
The technology aims to help users move beyond a single answer by connecting them with relevant reporting and further context from publisher sources.
