Vivo has launched the Y600 in China as the latest phone in its battery-focused lineup. It’s the fourth phone in the lineup, following the Y600 Pro, Y600 Turbo, and Y600i. All three phones are known for offering massive batteries, ranging from 8,000mAh to 10,200mAh. The Vivo Y600 provides a large battery with a stylish and premium design in the mid-range segment, where large battery capacities are a major focus.
Vivo Y600 specifications
The Vivo Y600 features a large 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone features a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front camera for selfies. On the software front, the Vivo Y600 runs OriginOS 6 with Android 16 out of the box.

A 10,000mAh battery for the Vivo Y600 is its highlight and is even claimed to have set a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous livestream test, where the phone ran for 32 hours and 37 minutes. This suggests reliable battery life for the Vivo Y600, possibly resulting in multi-day usage, but we’ll still have to test it in real-world scenarios for a better idea. The smartphone comes with 44W fast charging support.
The Vivo Y600’s specifications are quite similar to the Vivo S2 FE, which launched in India earlier this month. It has been speculated that the Vivo Y600 will be based on the S2 FE, so it’s likely they’re the same phone.
The smartphone has a starting price of CNY 1,999 (Rs 28,500 approx.) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It’s going on sale in China on October 30th and can be purchased in Diamond Gold, Obsidian Black, and Sapphire Blue colours. For buyers in China, the Vivo Y600 will be a good option if battery life is a major concern. Otherwise, there may be better alternatives with more versatile cameras and a faster chipset.
