Samsung makes some of the best smartwatches on the market right now, and thanks to a deal we’ve just spotted, you can own the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 for as little as $199.99 (was $399.99) when you trade in your current wearable. That’s an absolute bargain for Samsung’s latest flagship smartwatch, and one that we think is “unequivocally the best mainline Galaxy Watch in ages”.

You can get the maximum $200 saving by trading in a Watch 7, Watch Ultra and Watch 6 Classic. But, as long as you offer up an eligible device, listed on the Samsung site, you can get anywhere between $100 – $200 with a trade-in. Even if you don’t have a device you’re ready to part ways with, you can still get the smartwatch for a discounted $309.99.

Today’s best Samsung Galaxy Watch deal

In our Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 review, Matt Evans called the smartwatch a “triumph” and “unequivocally the best mainline Galaxy Watch in ages.” Need we say more?

Maybe we don’t need to, although you might appreciate a heads-up on some of the watch’s unique features. We are big fans of the built-in “Gemini assistant that is capable of completing complex tasks, a selection of useful new health features and a software redesign to go with its hardware updates.” This, quite simply, is one of the best smartwatches Samsung has ever produced.

Beyond features, the watch boasts an AMOLED display that is sharp, clear, and able to handle very bright outdoor scenes. The watch also includes accurate GPS, run coaching, sleep tracking, and automatic workout detection.
